Physical Training

The Air Force fitness program goal is "to motivate Airmen to participate in a year-round physical conditioning program that emphasizes total fitness". At Det. 440, we encompass the same mindset and encourage cadets to live an active lifestyle and provide the tools to make that possible. Cadets are required to participate in wing-run PT sessions twice a week, that include proper aerobic conditioning, strength and flexibility training, and athletic development. Health benefits from an active lifestyle will increase productivity, optimize health, and decrease absenteeism. This will allow each cadet and future Airman to effectively accomplish the Air Force mission.
